July 1st marks the start of bulb harvest for many early varieties. Fields that were full of color just months ago are now being lifted, cleaned, and cured. Over the coming weeks, the flower bulbs will be graded, cleaned, inspected for size, quality, and overall health before they're prepared for packaging and distribution to the USA.

It’s one of the busiest times of the year and an essential step in preparing bulbs for export to the USA and Canada before they make their way to growers, landscapers, and garden centers. The fields may no longer be filled with blooms, but they are far from quiet. This is where preparation for the upcoming fall planting season begins.
