The Magnificent Mile Tulip

The Magnificent Mile Tulip was baptized on April 17, 2024 by the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Chicago by Mr. Bart Twaalfhoven.

This specially selected tulip from the Netherlands was chosen by DeVroomen Garden Products for its vibrant bloom surprises and is happy to be able to supply The Magnificent Mile Tulip throughout the US.

Coming from the Darwin Hybrid family “The Magnificent Mile Tulip” is proudly perched on top of the tall sturdy stem that is able to withstand strong winds. This comes in handy being planted in the flower beds in the windy city of Chicago! The Tulip is of course an icon in the Netherlands but also a symbol of happiness, love, good luck, and the power of nature’s rhythm.

DeVroomen will celebrate its 100th year anniversary in 2025 and this is a first token of appreciation to the people of Chicago.
